- The College Board is providing free remote learning resources for AP courses.
- Face-to-face AP Exams will NOT take place.
- Students will take a 45-minute online exam at home. This can be done via computer, tablet, or smartphone. In some cases, a photo of handwritten work is also acceptable.
- The College Board will work with local instructors so that the exam will only include what AP teachers and students covered in class through early March.
- Each AP exam will have two different testing dates and they will be spaced out on the calendar.
- Exam dates will be released on April 3.
- The College Board is unlocking any “relevant free-response questions in AP Classroom for digital use” in order to allow students to practice all types of questions on the exam.
- If a student wishes to cancel their exam registration, they may do so at no charge.
- Students with difficulty obtaining connectivity in order to prepare or take the exam will be given resources to do so by the College Board.
- The College Board has assurance from Colleges that all of this is acceptable.
- In some cases, Portfolio due dates have been extended to May 26; the number of works to be submitted has been decreased; or exams are no longer required only portfolios. As follows:
