Brightline starts rides between Orlando and South Florida soon
DORAL, FL – Brightline announced Wednesday a new opening date for the rides between Orlando and South Florida. The highly anticipated day will come on September 22nd.
Now, the stations in Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach will be connected to the home of Walt Disney World.
The Orlando station, located at Terminal C at Orlando International Airport, features a premium lounge which includes a bar, priority boarding and complimentary snacks for those who purchase premium fares starting at $149 and ending in $309. Regular adult tickets will start at $79 and $39 for kids.
“Opening Orlando fulfills our ultimate business model. We have seen incredible enthusiasm from the business and tourism industries eager to travel between Central and South Florida,” Patrick Goddard, president of Brightline announced. “As we start service to Orlando for peak holiday seasons, I encourage everyone to check calendars, make plans, visit our website or app and reserve a seat now.”
The first train to ever depart from South Florida to the new Orlando station will go out from Miami and the ride duration will be of three and a half hours. Those interested in buying tickets can enter gobrightline.com
This announcement comes as great news for everyone who was patiently waiting for the train company to launch an opening date for rides between Orlando and South Florida after it was originally said it would be on September 1st.
