I live in a small gated community here in Doral and lots of people walk at night but everyone keeps plenty of distance .
When I am walking and someone who is elderly is coming my way or I am passing them on same street , it is I who crosses the street so we have distance between us not they who need to cross for me .
This is basic common decency , basic manners which many in Doral lack .
Sadly like many reading this I have seen lots of teenagers who are walking in groups ignore this and force the elderly to cross the street in order to avoid them .
Sad reflection on them AND their parents .
