Miami Children’s Museum Free Third Friday: November 15th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Thanks to the support of Baptist Health South Florida, every third Friday of each month, visitors can roam the Museum free of charge, visit new exhibits, enjoy all areas and have a fun afternoon of art, and learning. Miami Book Fair 2019: Nov. 17th to 24th at the Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus). A fantastic way to find amazing books and participate in fabulous events! This spectacular and beloved book fair will be offering author talks and signings, workshops, and an extensive variety of special events for people all ages. Steps for Healing 5k Run/Walk: Nov 16th at 8:00 am at Zoo Miami. Enjoy a 5K run/walk with the animals at Zoo Miami, alongside your family and friends, in support of the Children’s Bereavement Center, a wonderful organization that provides free grief support groups for children, teens, and adults in South Florida. Add to the excitement by dressing like your favorite animal; costumes not required but highly encouraged for maximum fun! Early bird registration $35. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy all-day admission to the Zoo, a free breakfast, and a free T-Shirt. - Library Breakout: Holiday Hullabaloo. November 15th, 3:00 pm. At Coral Gables Branch. Join the library for a festive escape room challenge! It’s almost time for Thanksgiving dinner and we can hardly wait for mashed potatoes, biscuits, gravy and, of course, Grandma’s famous pumpkin pie. There’s only one problem—her secret pumpkin pie recipe has gone missing. Now you must work with others to locate the recipe and avoid a dessert disaster! Ages 12?18 years.
- Design & Create Your Own 3D Objects: November 16th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at Main Library. Learn how to design three?dimensional objects on license and distribution-free software. Print your creation on a 3D printer and learn how 3D printers work regardless of the brand. Ages 9 years and up.
- Pumpkin Garlands: November 23rd, 11:00 am at Palmetto Bay Branch. Celebrate autumn by crafting your own pumpkins out of yarn and stringing them into a decorative garland soft sculpture. Materials will be provided. Ages 5 years and up.

Merrick Park 16th Annual Tree Lighting: Nov 21st from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Coral Gables is proud to present their traditional Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a wonderful event that brings holiday cheer and gather family and friends to light up the night and welcomes the season.
