DDCUS Robotics Teams Win Regional Championship
DORAL, FL – Downtown Doral Charter Upper School Robotics Teams Win Regional Championship, Advance to VEX IQ World Championship in Dallas, TX.
The school’s robotics team, Robofins, has achieved a remarkable victory, securing First Place at the South Florida Regional VEX IQ Competition and earning a coveted spot at the VEX IQ World Championship in Dallas, Texas.
The Robofins team, composed of dedicated and passionate students, has spent months honing their skills in engineering, coding, and strategic problem solving. Their hard work and determination paid off at the South Florida Regionals, where they triumphed over the best teams in the area. Now, they are preparing to take on elite robotics teams from across the world in the prestigious VEX IQ World Championship.
A Legacy of Innovation and Achievement
Robofins team has consistently demonstrated excellence in robotics and STEM education. Their achievements highlight the power of teamwork, perseverance, and innovative thinking. Some of their recent recognitions and awards include:
- Second year in a road going to World Championship Competition.
- Teamwork Champion Award (VIQRC) at the South Florida Event Region Middle School VEX IQ Robotics Championship
- Robot Skills 3rd Place (VIQRC)
- Think Award (VIQRC)
- Teamwork 2nd Place Award (VIQRC)
- Top Three Finalist Ranking in South Florida with the highest score of 122 and 121 points.
