Doral Citizens Police Academy is back!
DORAL, FL – If you live or work in Doral and are looking for a change in your routine, we invite you to apply for the Doral Citizens Police Academy.
The Doral Citizens Police Academy (DCPA) provides its citizens an opportunity to participate in eight weeks of both classroom and field training regarding the various responsibilities that police officers are facing.
The DCPA is an annual program offered by the Police Department’s Training Unit and is designed to acquaint people with the activities of their local police department. Activities include a tour of the station, involvement in criminal investigations, and traffic enforcement.
The academy is open to all who live or work in Doral and will take place on Thursday nights beginning September 26, 2019, from 6: 30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Doral Police Training and Community Center (3719 NW 97th Ave., Doral FL 33178).
There will be a light dinner at 6:15 pm prior to the start of class. Registration is based on first come, first serve. You must be 18 years old or older to participate.
