On Dec.10, do your duty and vote for Doral Council Seat 3!
DORAL, FL – On Tuesday Dec.10, City of Doral residents have the opportunity to raise their voice by voting for their candidate of choice for Doral Council Seat 3.
Seat 3 will be contested in a runoff election as on Nov.5 elections there was no winner. Nicole Reinoso obtained 10,340 votes (44.68%), while Juan Carlos Esquivel received 8,249 votes (35.64%), and Irina Vilarino, 4,554 votes (19.68 %).
Now, Doral residents will have to vote by either Nicole Reinoso or Juan Carlos Esquivel. Irina Vilarino was left out of the race.
Nicole Reinoso, born in Puerto Rico and of Cuban descent, began her career in 2010 as a case manager for Rubenstein Law. Then, in 2019, she came to the City of Doral to work as a legislative analyst for Christi Fraga when she was a councilwoman.
Subsequently, she joined the Miami-Dade County Public Schools in 2020 as chief of staff until 2023. Currently, Reinoso is the executive director for Land Use & Intergovernmental Affairs of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. To learn more about her, visit www.nicolereinoso.com
Juan Carlos Esquivel, on the other hand, is a Venezuelan of Cuban descent who will contest for a place on the city council for the third time after having contested in the 2020 and 2022 elections. He has lived in Miami since he was 12 years of age and in Doral for the past 21 years.

It’s very important that you do your duty as a Doral resident and vote for the candidate you esteem best suited for the job because he or she will have a vote in all the decisions the Doral Council takes, which can affect your interests, taxpayer dollars, quality of life and wellbeing.
