Drivers that qualify for a toll rebate must update personal data by September 20th

DORAL, FL – If you are an existing member of MDX’s Frequent Drivers Reward Program and are qualified to get a check, you must update your account information, including address and email by September 20, 2019, to become a beneficiary of a toll rebate.

According to Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX), frequent users who have met the program’s requirements will receive a toll rebate of 30 percent as approved my MDX Board.

The requirements include having paid at least $150 a year on MDX tolls using the mounted Sunpass transponder, and having a Sunpass account in good standing meaning not holding a negative balance as of June 30, 2019.

You can register multiple transponders to the same account, but every transponder will need to meet the requirements to receive a cash back check. Your Sunpass account must be up to date, and in good standing.

The refund will be in reference to the tolls paid on MDX expressways, from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. The cash back will be provided in form of a check to the account holder in November 19, 2019.

This program does not apply to users of the Turnpike, the Palmetto or the 95 Express Lanes operated by the Department of Transportation.

However, it applies to users of MDX expressways: SR 924/Gratigny Parkway, SR 112/Airport Expressway, SR 836/Dolphin Expressway, SR 874/Don Shula Expressway, and SR 878/Snapper Creek Expressway.
