CHRISTI FRAGA HIGHLIGHTS VENEZUELA’S POLITICAL SITUATION AFTER WHITE HOUSE VISIT

Following a recent meeting at the White House between Doral Mayor Christi Fraga and President Donald Trump, an unavoidable topic during the White House meeting was the situation in Venezuela, an issue of deep sensitivity for Doral, home to a large Venezuelan community. Mayor Fraga stated that one of the shared conclusions of the conversation was the belief that Venezuela is undergoing a process of liberation.
Fraga has described the Venezuelan government as a dangerous communist regime that runs counter to the values historically upheld by the United States. Following her dialogue in the Oval Office, she shared a message of hope, noting that President Trump expressed optimism about a near future in which it will be safe to return to a liberated Venezuela, suggesting that concrete steps toward democratization are already underway.
The mayor of Doral also met with Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, who has placed great hope in the country’s new future and expressed her desire to visit the city.
Through these diplomatic efforts, Mayor Christi Fraga’s goal is to position Doral as a mandatory point of reference on the global map. With federal backing for major infrastructure projects and an open door to international investment, the city is moving toward a new phase of maximum development.

Un tema inevitable durante el encuentro en la Casa Blanca fue la situación de Venezuela, de especial sensibilidad para Doral, ciudad con una numerosa comunidad venezolana. La alcaldesa Fraga señaló que uno de los puntos de consenso fue la percepción de que el país sudamericano atraviesa un proceso de liberación.
Fraga ha calificado al gobierno venezolano como un régimen comunista peligroso y contrario a los valores que históricamente ha defendido Estados Unidos. Tras su conversación en la Oficina Oval, compartió un mensaje de esperanza, indicando que el presidente Trump se mostró optimista ante un futuro cercano en el que sea seguro regresar a una Venezuela libre, sugiriendo que existen avances concretos hacia la democratización.
La alcaldesa de Doral también sostuvo un encuentro con la líder venezolana María Corina Machado, quien mantiene grandes expectativas sobre el futuro del país y expresó su deseo de visitar la ciudad.
Con estos esfuerzos diplomáticos, la meta de Christi Fraga es posicionar a Doral como un punto de referencia obligatorio en el mapa global. Con respaldo federal para grandes proyectos de infraestructura y una apertura decidida a la inversión internacional, la ciudad se encamina hacia una nueva etapa de máximo desarrollo.
