The City of Doral has launched a Call to Artists requesting proposals from artists for the acquisition of works of art to be installed within the City of Doral. Proposals must be submitted prior to the deadline on February 8, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

On Friday, October 29th, Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez, and City Council welcomed the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) for the signing of a voluntary collaborative agreement between both parties.

The new Doral Branch Library, three-story, 20,000-square foot, will be a state-of-the-art public library in Downtown Doral, at the northeast corner of NW 53 Terrace and NW 84 Avenue.

With Doral’s World Council on City Data (WCCD) ISO Smart City Certification (ISO 37122 – Indicators for Smart Cities) announced earlier this Summer, the WCCD President and CEO Dr. Patricia McCarney, joined today’s City Council Meeting to present the certification officially.

The cities of Doral and Sweetwater had previously requested approval from Miami Dade County for the annexation of a commercial area that is located west of the turnpike and is being developed at this time.
