Isabella Paez participated in the III Junior World Swimming Championship.

The residents of Doral are very proud of the young swimmer Isabella Paez and the great achievements she did last summer at the 3rd FINA World Junior Swimming Championship held at Lima Peru on August 16 to 21, in which participated over 650 swimmers from 70 countries.
…Isabella Paez is a sophomore student at Ronald Reagan Doral Senior High; she is 15 years old and a very enthusiastic and committed athlete, while excellent student.
She went to Lima Peru representing her country of origin, Venezuela, and obtained a very significant #12 the place in the competition: “ Girls 200 LC Meter Butterfly” with the following scores:

In this competition the World Record is held by Liu Zige, from China and is: 2 minutes, 01 sec .081, even though the winner in Lima Peru was Sorribes Ignacio, from Spain, and scored 2:07.087
Along with Isabella, one other swimmer resident of Doral participated, Juan Sequera.
On the other hand, Isabella Paez was able to achieve a timing of 1:03.64 in the 100 butterflies meter to finish in place 21 at the competition.
In the event of the 400 free meters, Juan Sequera achieved 4:34.64
Isabella is the proud daughter of Carlos Paez and Alexandra Cobo, both excellent runners and oustanding athletes too. As great supporters and proud parents, they are always behind schedules, trainings, food, etc.
We do not have doubt that Isabella will have more achieves and a wonderful success in this marvelous sport, keep working hard!!!
