M-DCPS Issues December Dates for Immunizations and Vaccinations

DORAL, FL – Miami-Dade County Public Schools announces December dates for school age immunizations & vaccination program subject to availability.

Through a partnership with the University of Miami Health System (UHealth), a Pediatric Mobile Clinic will be set up to offer required immunizations and vaccines at dozens of schools across the District.

The UHealth Pediatric Mobile Clinic sites will be providing the mandatory school-required vaccines for the 2022-2023 school year and for any student that is missing a school-age vaccine.

In addition, it will be available the COVID-19 vaccine including its booster shots to eligible students as well as the flu vaccine.

To be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, children must be at least six months old on the day they are receiving it. They must also have a completed COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form, which will be available at the sites. Walk-ups are welcome, subject to availability.

The following list include dates, locations and times throughout December in Miami-Dade:

– Saturday, December 3

UM will be providing the COVID-19 vaccine and FLU vaccines December 5th through December 9th.

Every person younger than 18 years old that takes a vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
