SFLHCC Celebrated Women’s Empowerment in Awards Luncheon
DORAL, FL – South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) celebrated women’s empowerment last Friday, December 2, 2022, in the Women Empowering & Embracing Women Awards Luncheon.
In the 10th version of this annual event, that took place in the Biltmore Hotel, several women were awarded, including Miami-Dade County Mayor, the honorable Daniella Levine Cava, elected as the County’s first-ever woman Mayor.
On the other hand, Diana Rodriguez received the Community Service-Commonwealth Award; Elizabeth La Rosa, the Mentorship-Making a Difference Award; Ely Mendieta, the Corporate Achievement-Triumph Award; Darlene Fernandez, the Leadership-the Luminary Award; Sharon Rigaud, the Education Believe and Succeed Award; Dr. Ana Duarte, the Healthcare-Inspiring & Achieving Award; and Michelle Palacio, the Marketing Influencer-Empowering Award.
Also, during the presentation, the Man of the Year- Has Demonstrated Most Support to the HWSN award was granted, this time to Dr. Anthony Cruz for his great support to all the events organized by the Hispanic Women’s Society Network.
SFLHCC gathered more than 280 people in Coral Gables where there was also a panel called ‘Miami Real Estate Market: Trends & Forecast for 2023’, which counted with experts in the matter, Jorge Guerra and Ramón Almazan.
