The City of Doral Kicks Off Holiday Activities on Dec. 1

DORAL, FL – The City of Doral Kicks Off Holiday Activities, starting today, December 1st, with the Park & Tree Lighting Ceremony at the City of Doral Government Center (8401 NW 53rd Ter).

The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. with a special ceremony, featuring guest of honor, Santa Claus. The City of Doral invites residents and visitors to join them as they light up the Holiday Tree and the Doral Government Center with brilliant lights.

Admission and parking are free. Photos with Santa Claus will be available but require tickets. Tickets are limited and must be purchased prior to the event on the City’s Eventbrite ($5 per ticket).

The holiday cheer keeps going with the first ever Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 2nd, at 4:00 p.m. at the Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street) where attendees with be able to shop for unique and artisanal holiday gifts for their loved ones.

Light Up the Night takes place on Thursday, December 7th, 6:00 p.m. at Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street) and is a perfect way to celebrate this special time of the year. “Join us to show your holiday pride as we stand with Israel and light the menorah, recognizing all our first responders for keeping us safe during the holidays and always!”, reads a news announcement. Raffles and light bites following the ceremony.

On Friday, December 8th at Doral Meadow Park (11555 NW 58th St) the community is invited to Holiday Celebration at the Park for a full night of entertainment for the family kicking off at 6:00 p.m., with activities that include over 10 interactive inflatables, live-performances, holiday character appearances and much more. Admission and parking are free. This will be the last chance for photos with Santa Claus. Tickets are required and must be purchased prior to the event on the City’s Eventbrite ($5 per ticket).

The festivities continue with the Miami Symphony Orchestra at the Park on Saturday, December 9th at Downtown Doral Park (8395 NW 53rd Street). Attendees can take blankets, picnic baskets and family to enjoy an evening with the beautiful sounds of the Miami Symphony Orchestra led by Eduardo Marturet. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. This event begins at 5:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The holiday event series culminates on Tuesday, December 19th with Storytime with Mrs. Claus. Children are encouraged to attend for magical stories at the Doral Cultural Arts Center (8363 NW 53rd St) at 6:00 p.m. Registration will open December 5th and will be capped at 200 participants (kids and adults included).
