Cano Health Celebrated the Beginning of Open Enrollment Period
DORAL, FL – Cano Health celebrated the beginning of Open Enrollment Period for 2023 on September 8th, 2022, at Milander Center for Arts and Entertainment in Hialeah.
The AEP 2023 Agent Kick-Off Reception gathered more than 250 assistants between brokers, agents and the chiefs of the different service departments of Cano Health.
During the event, there were interactive displays where participants learned about Cano’s new services, locations and providers, while they also met special guests as well as their local leadership team.
One of them was Dr. Marlow Hernandez, executive director, who talked about what Cano Health consists of and its mission which is improving their patients health by providing superior primary care medical services, while forging a lifelong bond with their members.
Cano Health aims at becoming the national leader in primary care by improving the health, wellness, and quality of life of the communities it serves, while lowering health care costs. It has 137 medical centers distributed along California, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, Texas and New Mexico.
In addition, at the reception also participated Dr. Richard Aguilar, their clinical executive director, and also co-founder and medical director of Diabetes Nation, a primary care group that recently published the results of the Diabetes Intervention and Management with Excellence (DIME) Program Model of Care for diabetes prevention. He talked about the clinical services Cano Health provides.
Lastly, this was an opportunity for people to know the Open Enrollment Period for 2023 that in Florida begins in November 1, 2022, and extends until January 15, 2023.
