Doral Launches “Senior Splash” at the City’s Aquatic Center

The Doral Aquatic Center will open its doors exclusively to Silver Club members for a morning or afternoon dedicated to wellness. “The Silver Club is one of my favorite groups in the City of Doral,” said Pineyro. “This initiative will reserve hours once a month at the new aquatic center just for Silver Club members.”
During these dedicated hours, participants will enjoy specialized programming, such as aqua aerobics and aqua Zumba, completely free of charge. Pineyro emphasized that the estimated cost to the city is just $160 per month to cover instruction and materials, making it a minimal investment with a meaningful impact.
“Senior Splash” is more than just a dip in the pool—it’s an opportunity to combat sedentary lifestyles, improve mobility and flexibility, and strengthen community bonds. In a relaxed setting, free from the rush of daily life, older adults will be able to enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of aquatic exercise tailored to their needs and abilities.
“It’s something Silver Club members will truly enjoy and have been asking for,” Pineyro affirmed, highlighting the importance of the initiative.
