Miami-Dade Schools is now offering Pfizer vaccine to kids ages 12 to 15
DORAL, FL – On Thursday, May 13, and then on May 20, Pfizer vaccine will be available for children ages 12 to 15 following the CDC’s authorization of the vaccine for this age group.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools will be administering the shots at three locations from noon to 8 p.m. to not only students but also employees and their families, including those that are in charter schools.
The locations are as follow:
– North Miami Senior High School, 13110 NE 8th Ave, North Miami, FL 33161
– Miami Jackson Senior High School, 1751 NW 36th Street
– Miami Sunset Senior High School, 13125 SW 72nd Street
Take note that those interested must make an appointment first to access Pfizer vaccine here. Also, parents of minors to be vaccinated must not only accompany their children but additionally complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form by downloading a copy in the following link.
But if the previous dates don’t fit in your schedule, there are other two opportunities to get your children immunized on Saturday, May 15, and on Saturday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In this case appointments are not required.
