Miss Universe Celebration of Nations – Parade & Festival
Doral, FL – On Sunday, January 11th, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the most beautiful women in the universe will unite at Doral Downtown Park for the grand Miss Universe Celebration of Nations Parade and Festival. This event is supported by City of Doral and Pierini Esthetic Center and will benefit the Doral Pro-Health Foundation, which promotes preventive health activities among the less fortunate families in Doral. Special guests at the event include: the Mayor of Doral, Luigi Boria, the City Council, directors of the Miss Universe Organization, sponsors, volunteers and supporting organizations.
The MISS UNIVERSE pageant is the most important global beauty event. Each year a new queen is crowned. Doral will host the contestants this year and for two weeks, the world of beauty will concentrate on this touristic and business city of over 50,000 residents, located in Miami-Dade County in South Florida.
Fantasy Parade
The parade will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Doral Government Center and culminate at Downtown Doral Park – see attached map with parade route. Contestants of the 63rd Annual MISS UNIVERSE® Pageant will ride through the city in luxury cars provided by the Prestige firm, as attendees admire the beauties representing 88 countries. The parade will offer residents and visitors to the City of Doral the opportunity to have a close encounter with the contestants, while enjoying a family day at Doral Downtown Park. Children’s entertainment will be provided by Party 4 You. Other activities include: bands, dances, magic cultural shows, and restaurants with different international and local foods.
Pink Carpet
Following the conclusion of the parade, contestants will pose for the cameras of the local, national and international media on the pink carpet.
