Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish elevated to Shrine.
It is with great joy that we announce that Archbishop Thomas Wenski has just elevated the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Doral to the status of a Shrine.
Pilgrims visiting the shrine can receive a partial indulgence by praying the Angelus for the intentions of the Archdiocese, along with fulfilling the traditional conditions of prayer, reconciliation, and receiving Holy Communion.
This honor is bestowed in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the dedication of the church building.
Upon receiving the announcement this afternoon Mrs. Barbara Romani, founding parishioner of Guadalupe expressed that this designation “is a blessing . It will be known as Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and Diocesan Shrine . It is a parish church and a shrine and was awarded to us for what has happened over the years since we began as a mission of Blessed Trinity”.

Con inmenso gozo, anunciamos que el Arzobispo Thomas Wenski ha proclamado oficialmente la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en el Doral como Santuario Mariano. Este es un honor extraordinario que compartimos con muy pocos altares a lo largo de los Estados Unidos.
Los peregrinos que visiten el Santuario podrán recibir indulgencia parcial orando el Angelus por las intenciones de la Arquidiócesis
y completando las condiciones tradicionales de oración, reconciliación y recepción de la Eucaristía.
Ha sido propicia la ocasión del décimo aniversario de la Consagración del templo parroquial para otorgar este honor y realizar el anuncio.
