PP4K Traffic Park

Doral’s Parks & Police 4 Kids Foundation (PP4K) is creating a mobile traffic park thanks to the sponsorship offered by SuperAutos Miami and Renaissance Charter Schools, both located in Doral.  The PP4K has the support of the Doral City Council, the Doral Parks and Recreation Department, and the City of Doral Police Department.  A $10,000 grant awarded to PP4K by The Miami Foundation made this traffic park possible.

The traffic park will simulate our city, complete with traffic lights, street signs, intersections, and little “buildings”.  The purpose of the park is to educate children about traffic laws and safety in a fun and interactive way.  Children will be able to ride twelve bicycles donated by SuperAutos Miami through the simulated traffic park which includes a “school” donated by Renaissance Charter Schools, as if they were driving a vehicle.

SuperAutos Miami is located at 8470 NW 58th St. in Doral.  They are a family-owned used car dealership with 30 years of experience in their industry, headed by Rene Diaz Sr.  SuperAutos was recently awarded the “Keep Doral Beautiful” Business Award for their new, state-of-the-art facility, where they offer over 100 vehicles with clean titles and factory warranties to choose from.  Renaissance Charter Schools runs two schools in Doral.  Renaissance Elementary is a Pre-K through 5th grade facility located at 10651 NW 19th St, Doral, and Renaissance Middle is a 5th through 8th grade facility located at 8360 NW 33 St., Doral.

The PP4K is a 501(c)(3) foundation in the City of Doral whose goal is to support and empower kids who face challenges and help them overcome those challenges and develop a promising future.
