WM Joins with the City of Doral to Award $20,000 in Mayoral Environmental College Scholarships to Four Doral High School Seniors
Four $5,000 College Scholarships Awarded
Doral, FL – May 20, 2026 – WM has joined with the City of Doral to award $20,000 in Mayoral Environmental College Scholarships to four Doral high school seniors.
Students receiving the $5,000 college scholarships are Camila Dell’Acqua and Ainnara Lazzaro from Doral Academy; Sara Peaguda of Ronald W. Reagan Doral Senior High School; and Juan Carlos Cevallos of the School of Advanced Studies West.
The scholarship recipients were chosen based on their academic performance and grade point average; community service; and a personal essay on Sustainability.
“WM is extremely pleased to be partnering with the City of Doral and Mayor Christi Fraga to honor these four deserving students with college scholarships,” said WM Communications Director Dawn McCormick. “This is a significant opportunity to assist our deserving local students in purusing academic study and potential careers in environmental sciences and sustainability studies.”
