City of Doral Orders Residents to Remain Home

Para leer en Español

Doral, FL – City of Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez has signed an Emergency Order, “Safer at Home”. This order, which is in addition to previously issued Miami-Dade County Orders (including Order 07-20), which were applicable to and being followed by Doral, requires all residents to remain at home until further notice. This will be effective March 25, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. This is a necessary measure in order to prioritize the safety of our residents and businesses and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Under this emergency order, only essential travel is permitted to seek goods and services from essential retail establishments or for commuting to essential jobs. If you must travel for these critical reasons, always practice social distancing and other guidelines as advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As the situation continues to develop,  make sure you are following us on social media — @cityofdoral (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and on the City of Doral COVID-19 webpage for announcements on possible future changes to other City operations.

To learn more about COVID-19 and stay up-to-date with the latest guidance, please visit the CDC website.

  • When flights from Latin America come to Miami and not tested for the virus before they come ( not that a negative test reading means much in corrupt Latin America where officials are EASILY paid off ) how do we prevent this cycle from ever ending ?
