Doral Green Lights Outdoor Sales Events for Retail Businesses

Doral, FL – Retail businesses are no longer limited to twice annual outdoor sales events thanks to the Doral City Council’s approval of an ordinance update regarding outdoor event regulations for retail businesses. Councilwoman Sandra Ruiz brought this ordinance forward to encourage continued economic growth in the community by allowing more flexibility and frequency in outdoor retail events.

“While Doral is fortunate to already enjoy a thriving business community, I am passionate about finding new ways to work with our businesses for their continued success,” declared Councilwoman Sandra Ruiz.

The previous ordinance limited retail businesses to only two outdoor events per calendar year. With this restriction gone, the city is creating a more competitive environment for retail businesses which regularly conduct market outreach through these types of events on their premises.
