During the 2000s, the locks have become romantic tokens – universal symbols for the commitment, strength, and constancy of a relationship.
The heart-shaped sculpture at Doral mimics its famous international cousins– the lock bridge above the Seine River in Paris and the Punda Love Heart in Curacao– and encourages couples, friends, and family members in South Florida to show their love permanently.
The heart sculpture is located right in front of Sports Grill in Downtown Doral.
You can bring your lock and attach the lock anywhere along the metal grid.
