Miami-Dade Schools to begin food distribution on Tuesday, June 15

DORAL, FL – Miami-Dade Schools is set to begin their curbside summer food distribution on Tuesday, June 15. 

Families interested must visit any of the 50 designated schools across Miami-Dade County on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., up until August 12, 2021.

Food distribution will be available for students not attending summer school or camps and not getting meals as a daily walk-in.

Distribution locations are posted on the district’s website at www.dadeschools.net. They are as follow:

Food distribution for Summer Schools and Camps

Students enrolled in summer schools or district-affiliated camps and programs will be offered free breakfast and lunch meals daily between June 14 until August 13, 2021 (except July 5 holiday).

Summer Site Daily “Walk-In” Meals

Summer food distribution will be extended also to students 18 years old and younger who are not enrolled in a program, but walk in for a grab-and-go breakfast and/or lunch.
