DORAL, FL – As COVID-19 pandemic goes through a new week, many people around Miami-Dade continue struggling to put food on the table. If you are one of them, please be aware of the following places where you can get free food this week. 

 

Wednesday, May 13

– Homestead Air Reserve Park

Doors will open at 9 a.m. and will close until supplies run out.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. and will close at noon.

Free food for kids

Parents who are struggling to provide food to their little ones will be happy to know that the food chain Pollo Tropical will offer free meals every weekday to kids age 12 and under. 

Starting Monday of this week and every weekday between 11 a.m. and noon, the restaurant chain will launch a free lunch kids program in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Every kid will receive one free Kids Classic TropiChop® and bottled water. The meal is citrus-marinated chicken, rice and beans.
